Allergy Sufferers being failed by NHS says report
ONE THIRD OF UK POPULATION (AROUND 20M PEOPLE) NOW SUFFER FROM AN ALLERGY BUT THERE ARE ONLY 33 NHS SPECIALISTS IN THE WHOLE COUNTRY - WAITING LISTS FOR NHS CONSULTATION ARE UP TO 9 MONTHS. FOOD ALLERGIES ARE AMONG THE FASTEST RISING CONDITIONS.

However there is a solution for worried people who can't or don't want to wait 9 months.

Food intolerance reactions are part of the general allergy problem. YORKTEST offers the first and only clinically proven food intolerance test in the UK and Ireland. The 113 foodSCAN is a unique home testing method in which a sample of blood is taken from a finger prick which is then sent directly to YORKTEST to be analysed in the company’s own laboratories for reactions to 113 types of food.

YORKTEST has seen significant results with their customers; over 73% of people who take the 113 foodSCAN test and follow the diet based on eliminating or rotating intolerant foods report significant relief from symptoms within 20 days or less.

Muriel Simmons, Chief Executive, Allergy UK says, “The scientifically proven YORKTEST foodSCAN test and back-up nutritional support offered to patients provides a wonderful service for food intolerance sufferers worldwide. Allergy UK has worked hard with the company to bring an affordable and easily obtainable test to the market as a service to people with allergies. Allergy UK is delighted to recommend the YORKTEST range of testing to food intolerance sufferers everywhere”.
